MARY NUTT

Partner, CFO

Mary Catherine Nutt’s career in banking, finance and accounting reflects a wealth of experience including Big-5 accounting firm assignments, overseeing highly regulated financial operations including gaming regulatory compliance for hotel/casino operations in Las Vegas. Mary as Senior VP and Relationship Manager for one of the largest US Banks and Securities Firms in the United States provided expert financial assistance for high-net worth clients for over 10 years and more recently operates as CFO for both High Net- Worth Individuals and Small Business Owners.      

An accountant by training, for 25 years Mary has earned a reputation for providing skilled and practical guidance in her professional roles as an accountant, a corporate controller, private client wealth group executive and CFO.   

Her areas of expertise include accounting for high-net worth individuals, investment portfolio reviews, budgeting and expense planning for individuals and small businesses, allocation and portfolio management strategies, the design and maintenance of accounting systems, and monthly financial reporting. 

Prior to her business career, Mary was an accomplished professional dancer. Trained in classical ballet, Mary performed professionally as a prima ballerina in New York and in the Zurich Opera Ballet in Zurich, Switzerland. Mary’s reputation for dedication and perfection eventually earned her the role of a principal dancer in a premier Las Vegas stage production.   

A graduate of the UNLV College of Business and holds dual Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Accounting degrees where her matriculation culminated Magna Cum Laude with high honors. She has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1996 and previously held Series 7 licenses for Securities and Health, Life, and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses. 

A member of the Leadership Committee for the Heart of Florida United Way, Mary previously served as Treasurer for Orlando chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) for 10 years and a graduate of the Winter Park Leadership Class XX.  Since moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 2013, Mary serves as a mentor for the American Association of Caregiving Youth and as Community Captain on the Boca Raton Bowl.  She is an ongoing member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Society of Woman Accountant.
